Office 2003

I tried to upgrade Microsoft Office 2003 standard edition but it failed so I
tried to uninstall office this also failed, it keeps telling me that the
patch package cannot be verified ! Also since this has happened everytime I
access the internet a message window pops up called Windows Installer saying
preparing to install, but not what it's installing or if anything has been
installed. It is slowing my internet down considerably, please can anyone
advise me as to how I can correct this problem... Thankyou.

Try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility

Be careful with it. Use it to remove any entries to do with Office 2003 then
reinstall Office 2003.
