Office 2003 - XP 2002 compatibility

I have installed an Office 2003 package on a PC with Windows XP 2002
SP1 operating system. Are these compatible, or do I need to use
Windows XP 2003?
 
The latest Windows is Windows XP. There is a Home and a Professional Version
but there are no versions 2002 or 2003.
In the last few days, Microsoft release Service Pack (SP) 2 for Windows XP
