Clueless in Seattle
a couple days ago I had to reinstall Win2K because the Network and
Dial-up Connections went haywire on me.
So today I tried to reinstall Office 2003 because it no longer showed
up on the installed programs list in the Control Panel in my
reinstalled Win2K.
But during the Office installation process I got an error message
saying file YS561405.CAB could not be found in the installation cache.
It prompted me to have that file copied from the CD drive.
But each time I clicked OK I just kept getting that same error message
and copy prompt over and over again.
I used Windows Explorer to look at the cache folder and it showed a
file 46,626 KB file named YS561405.CAB, big as you please. It also
shows that same file on the CD.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this error so I can get Office up and
running again?
