In any of the "views" , regardless wether it is the "day", "week", or "month"
view, the header only shows the date- eg-"july 23" when it is supposed to
show "sunday july 23".

How do i get the name of the day of the week to show also?

Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 Trial (11.80.10.8028) sp2

Thank you.

Set the day format to dddd in Control Panel, Regional Settings.

Thank you for your reply, but there is no "DDDD" option in either the short
or long date format in Control Panel/Regional settings. All of the options
listed refer only to date,month,year formats.

Any other options or would doing an Office repair function maybe fix this?

Thank you

Control Panel->Regional Settings->Customize->Date tab.

You can type what you want in that field.

ahaaa.......Thank you, it does indeed solve the problem...I didn't know it
was a "free-form" field and there is nothing in MS Office help to indicate
that you could use something other than the options in the drop-down list.

Thanks again.
