Office 2003 Error on XP Embedded SP1

Hi~ everyone.

I have a problem.
When I install Office 2003, appear error messages.
Error says "Service Pack is not correctly installed on this computer.
Please, Windows Update......"

Why is this a problem?
I can install Office XP. But, wanna install Office 2003.
Help, Me....~

The Office Licence does not allow you to install Office. XPe is not
meant to be used as a desktop system.
 
Hi Jenny,

I'm getting the same error as what you have and i have read some of the
forum post about win XPe not supporting office 2003. I have yet to find
anything from microsoft website about it. mayb we can help by gathering all
related stuff or website that stated this.
