Are you sure that it's sku112.cab that it is requesting? Can you double check
that? I have Office 2003 Professional and there is a file called sku011.cab on
the CD. Could that be what it is asking for?
The temptation is great, but I shall suppress all political jokes on my tongue.
Ouch! That bite really hurt!
To my knowledge WMP 10 is in Beta testing. I have learned to never install a
beta product on a system that I really need to use for real work. It's good
that you had another system to revert to.
What version of Office 2003 do you have? I found a thread in another forum
where Microsoft responded that SKU112.CAB is on the Office 2003 Standard CD. I
don't have the standard version here to verify that, but it sounds like you may
not be inserting the right CD. Go to the Control Panel and select Add/Remove
Programs and see what version of Office 2003 you have installed.
My excel on windows xp home vv. wont open-last wk. it was fine-says i need
sku112.cab but i can't find my original cd..what now?? also on bottom of
home page a downloading updates icon appeared all by itself. Help!!
Bottom line is that you have to have the CD. If you know what your CD Key was
and you registered your Office software, you might be able to get replacement
media from Microsoft.
