Office 2000 will not update. It says CAB file has an unsigned certificate.
This leaves Office 2000 wide open right?

PS my 1.6 ghz optimixed for XP just rocks. Vista makes this machine run
like a W95 machine again. Very slow. Changing between files and folders
takes long enought to go get a new cup of coffee between views.

I need a "stop this" as Esc does nothing.

I have the same problem with Office 2003. If anyone knows
how to get around it, PLEASE let us know!

Are either of you running Office 2000 in the new RC2? Worked fine for me in
RC1, both builds, but now I can't even install it in RC2! Error registering
..dll's it seems! Disc 2, however, installs fine!

I have office 2000 plus shortcuts bar on screen & everything is working well
with RC2-5744;
I had it with RC1-5600 and I upgraded to RC2,

That's interesting! When you say you "upgraded", do you mean you had
RC1-5600 and Office 2000 both installed already and THEN ran RC2 as an
"upgrade" rather than a clean install? Actually that makes sense, because
the .dll's would already be registered before the RC2 installation!

sorry for the delay : yes I had already Office 2K in RC1-5600 & decided to
upgrade to RC2-5744; everything OK and working as before & maintaining my
tunings except for network connection that lost configuration (had to
re-configure again manually )
