office 2000 with windows xp

Ihave a new computer with windows xp. I want to install
office 2000 on this computer. Message says not 32 bit
compatable. Tried program compatability wizard. It did
not work. Can I use office 2000 with windows xp? If I can
please tell me how to install.

First make sure you are indeed running a 32Bit version of XP.

Then post your question in the Office Newsgroup. Office 2000 is 100%
compatible with Windows XP.
