I hope I'm in the right thread--don't know what I'm doing. I just bought
Office 2007 and preferred to keep my old 2000 email. Yesterday I was getting
rid of "extra" programs and deleted Office 2000--when I couldn't open my
email, I figured that was not a good idea. I ran a system restore and that
fixed the problem except that now every time I open my email I get a popup
that tells me that it's trying to install Office 2000 and I need to insert
Micosoft Office SR-1 disk. Selecting "cancel" does not good. I don't have
the disk; want to keep email as it is...just don't want this popup. I can
get around this by keeping my email open and just minimizing it, but that's
just a bandaid solution. I would so appreciate any help.
