I have Office 2000 Small Business which doesn't have PowerPoint as part of it. Is there anyway I can download PowerPoint and which one would I download, or do I need to purchase it, and if so, is it possibe to buy as a single piece of software? My platform is Windows 98 SE. I am not really familiar with the whole PowerPoint scene, as you can probably tell.

I'm Afraid that purchase is your only option. PowerPoint does come as part of
Office SBE 2003. You might be eligible for an upgrade price check here

You need to purchase PPT. It's not available for download.

You can purchase stand-alone PPT, yes. You will need to purchase either
PPT 2000 or PPT 2002 (aka PPT XP.) Do not let the sales person talk you
into purchasing the upgrade version of PPT or of Office XP. These will
*not* add PPT to Office 2000 SBE.

Office 2003 SBE *does* include PPT, though, and the Office 2003 SBE
Upgrade will add PPT to Office 2000 SBE or Office XP SBE. However,
Office 2003 will not run on Windows 98 SE -- it needs Windows 2000
Service Pack 3 (SP3) or WindowsXP to run. So don't let them talk you
into purchasing Office 2003 (any version), either, unless you want to
upgrade Windows as well.
