I recently purchased a new computer equipped with Vista. The computer was
pre-loaded with a 90 day version of Office 2008. When it expired, I
installed my Office 2000 Pro and uninstalled the 2008 version. Word tires to
open and then displays the error message below. I did install all
recommended service packs 1,2,3. Excel also displays a similar error
message, however Excel does open, but crashes when you try to open an
existing file. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Morrie

I'd suggest searching at support.microsoft.com to see if there are any
problems with Vista and Office 2000.
