This is pretty common Jo Ann,
When your dealing with MSI applications you need to learn
to stop installing from CD's.
Your problem is that with Office in particular it requires
the CD even after it is installed for every new user that
logs into that machine.
Your best option is to install Office2k via admin install
to a server. Then install the application from a UNC path
such as \\server\sharename\office\proplus.msi
even better than that you should also create an mst for
the app using ORKtools.exe
DONT EVER install from CD whilst using msi's.
