Office 2000 Premium can't load to XP

Whenever I try to load Office Premium to XP it gets
halfway and bombs because "There is a Windows file needed
that can't be accessed". I've tried to unhide and take the
permissions off of Windows folders but this hasn't worked.
Do you have any suggestions?
 
Is it a version of Office you've used ok on other
systems? Which version of XP is it? I'm running Office
2000 Premium on XP home and it works perfectly. Make sure
you've download all of the most recent service-packs for
XP.
