Hi all

Can anybody point me to links that inform on limitations / success of
this combination.

Many thanks

You can find this info on the Terminal Services FAQ:

How do I install Office on a terminal server?

A. Installation notes for recent versions:

* Office XP: Installs properly by simply using Add/Remove Programs.

* Office 2000: Requires a "transform" file to setup. There's more
information in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article How to Install
Office 2000 on Windows 2000 Terminal Server (Q224313).
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q224313

* Office 97: Requires special instructions
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q210231 from
the Microsoft Knowledge Base, including the use of
application-compatibility scripts.

Thanks for your wonderful insight, vulgar language and NO actual help. These newsgroups are for helping people solve current problems or giving pre-sale advice. If you actually had advice on an alternate multi-user operating system that runs an office suite with Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Access and Outlook compatible programs that would be helpful, but you are obviously just wasting people's time with your pointless personal opinion.
