I have "print banners" turned off on a Windows 2000/Office 2000 workstation
in the Control Panel - Printers section. However, when a user opens a Word
or Excel document and prints the document it still prints the banners
anyway. You can go into the properties and change this at the time of
printing but it is laborious to do so. My question is: Is there a way to
change Office documents so that they print whatever the default is on the
system.

Thanks!
Jason

The printer settings are stored with the Documents and/or Templates in
M$ Office. Try this way.
