Office 2000 contacts folder

Hi,

I downloaded several hundred names and email addressess from an Excel file. Now, they show up in my "Contacts" folder when I open it, but they do not show up in the address bar on the tool bar nor when I click "To," so there's no way to send emails to this group. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!
 
Richt click on your contacts folder, go to properties, outlook address book,
and tick the box. Does that help?
