They sure look pretty, however the Open Office has gained momentum in the last year or so and the new version 2.0 is already available in Beta version soon to be released officially to users worldwide. I wonder if this open source suite will force Microsoft to lower the price of MS Office 12. I remember the Office XP (full version) was not very cheap when introduced in 2002.
Open Office 2 is really nice too, I would consider using that all the time if I didn't already have Office XP. For home use, I wouldn't buy it again - as OO2 is fully functional.
My problem is 'change', I like things constant ... I spent 20mins, after inserting a picture, trying to figure out how to get the text to wrap around it. That stupid 'anchor' drove me nuts.
But Hey! I won't get 'word' on my Linux Box and I sure as hell can't argue about the cost of OOv2
