How can one stop offensive pop-ups from occuring during
web browsing sessions. Setting the security level on
high work but such a setting will not allow "normal" web
sites, such as disney.com to function properly.
 
you might want to download one of those little utilities to prevent pop-ups.
They work.

If you have McAfee security center you can check the box for NO ADS

google has a tool bar with a popup blocker. Not to mention
its useful. Go to google and click tools and you will see
it towards the bottom of the page. Its free.
