Howdy! Howdy!
At one of our clients I deployed Office 2000 SP3 via GPO.
All is fine and great with one exception: for one user
Outlook wil not close. Meaning, she clicks on the little
X in the upper right corner and it acts like it is closing
( in that it you can see the "Outlook" in the task bar )
but it just sits there. She ahs to log off and the back
on.
I have deployed OFfice 2000 SP3 to around 750 computers
and never experienced this. I have not had a chance to
look in the Event logs. THey are in a very busy time and
are glued to their computers...
Has anyone experienced this? Nothing has changed since I
created the GPO and assigned it to the user configuration
side and now. She is the only one...out of the 11 people.
Thanks all,
Cary
PS...Office 2000 was installed "manually" to the computers
but I uninstalled Office manually before applying the
GPO. I did not use the MS Office Eraser tool...
