off topic , regarding how to eliminate SPAM!

i have recieved over 200 emails trying to get me to download a "secuirty
patch" infected with a worm , i do not beleive any 2 of the mails came from
the same address, any advice on how to stop it or get some justice here?

Use a spam filter.

Hi Jeff,

As the emails are coming from victims you have the posts <and> the virus,
there is no one to get back at. More's the pity.

I've got 60+ in my mailbox and the server tells me of 150+ waiting to be
downloaded. I'm not accepting mail until I can get my ISP to remove them. It's
a hell of a long download otherwise. :-(

What fun, what glee someone must be enjoying - to hold such power to waste
people's lives.

Email virus or spammer - String 'em up. Hang 'em high!

The first one about whom I had to think, when I heard this spam from
Microsoft newsgroups, was you,
My thought was: "poor Fergus he will be overloaded". (And you've a 56K
connection isn't?).

But Herfried and I don't have trouble, (e-mail address removed) is getting no spam.

Oeps, I think if it real exists all mails go to that address.

it never goes above 45K - I think I have a bad line. :-((
