I am running vista RC2 , build 5744 and I have a little question for
someone.

In XP I used to run Photoshop Elements 4 , but in vista it does not run
properly.
The main part of the program works alright, it is the photo downloader bit
that does not work right.
It (photo downloader) opens alright, but it does not see my RAW files?

I wondered if anyone knows of a picture viewer that can be used to take the
pictures from my camera and download them onto my computer (including my RAW
files)?

Any help or information would be gratefully appreciated.

ACDSee used to be really good, then it became very crap indeed. But now
it's good again.

Haven't tried it with Vista yet though.

Just curious, since most cameras are seen as mass storage devices and you
can just drag and drop the pictures to wherever you want them, what kind of
camera are you using.

Raw shooter. Adobe LightRoom.

If your camera shoots RAW it came with software for developing and
converting RAW images.

Microsoft actually do a downloadable raw viewer that works for most Canon
and Nikon cameras ( RAW format varies a little!)

It's great on XP, to be honest I've not tried it recently, but if I remember
it was great on Beta 2, it is free, so might be worth a try.
