Off Topic: MicroSD V1 and V2

OFF TOPIC....

Im looking for info about the old microSDSC compatability issues . I have a
spy pen device with "CVMV-159" for a name, I now know about speed class
ratings for the new SDHC micro cards but is there a class other than "x
something" let me explain, I dont know if the new SDHC card will work in it
as the card in it has no class number so it must be a x6 or x10 but is there
a SDSC that is faster than the one I have. I need a new one to increase the
size from 2gig to 4gig and faster to see if it can record video in 30FPS as
at the moment it records at 29FPS. When the shops sell SDSC cards is there a
one time speed or can I get a fast one if I hunt for one?

I ask this here in alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt because unfortunatly I
dont know where else to ask and this is a memory question I thought be best
asked here because lots of people here know about memory, I know Paul is
always eager to answer in lengthy replys so I thank him in advance and
anyone else please dont flame me though for the off topic I have done my
best to warn this is off topic.

Is it true that micro SDSC cards only go upto 2GB? if that is the case my
device at this web site here:

says it can go upto 8GB (on the back of the box and manual says nothing
about max memory), so does that conclude it CAN use a SDHC card? Im looking
for a class 4 if the spy pen will take that speed.
