I've been having trouble with outlook express (OE). I have been "caught
up"... then post a new message... click on another group... read messages
there for 5-10 minutes... then back on the group in question to trigger a
download of headers... my message isn't there. And it never appears later
in the day... but then I see a response to my message that was downloaded...
What's the deal! I'm wondering if there are other messages I'm trying to
monitor that I have not seen?

I've set OE to get 1000 headers at a time, "Send messages immediatly" is on,
and "save a copy in sent items" is on. Am I missing some important setting?

A new program/website must have the following at least:
1) ability to mark a thread as a watched thread (similar to OE). I want to
know when message threads I've posted in have messages that I have not read
2) a read/unread status of all messages
3) ability to flag all unread messages as read. Called "catch-up" in OE. I
use this after I read all that peaks my interest and don't care to look at
the rest. There are just too many messages a day to read them all. And I
don't want to have to mark each thread as read separately.
