dear all,

I try to test how offline folders works.
I can configue it properly but even when I check the
option notify me when working off line its seems that no
notification is coming.

how can I be notified when a net connextion is down and
that i am now working offline?

then an other point is that i have read in MCSE book
relative to Xp that after working offline , and if a file
has been chang, I should be ask what should I no with the
file and wich one to keep, server side or client side. but
nothing ask about this files get synchronise without any
prompt, how to solve that ?

regards
serge

As to your first question, if the notification is enabled, you should
see the offline icon in your system tray (near the clock) and may also
get a notification window popup... However, the offline icon will
definately indicate when you are not working on the network...

As to your second issue, you will get a popup like what you describe
if there were changes made to the files on both sides since your last
synchronization. If the server hasn't been changed, but your side
has, then your content will be synced automatically with no
notification.
