OEM Install with Partitions

I just performed a new restore on my eMachines T2042 with the OEM restore
disks that came with the machine. I never got asked about disk space or
partitions. It just reinstalled all the original software and asked me to
register with Microsoft and eMachines. Before I go ahead and reinstall all
my software and give up, is there a way of accessing the partitions feature
during setup from OEM disks?

I just received email from my computer's support. They say that, due to the
way the restore disks are set up, the only way to add partitions is thru a
third party program. Man, that's a downer. I really didn't want to kick out
$70 for Partition Magic if I didn't have to do so. But oh well!
