OEM differences?

I have been having different screens in some threads than the replies
indicate.

I just ran a utility that shows I have an OEM version of W2K/SP4.

In general, would an OEM version be limiting as far as the user making
changes to file icons, file associations, etc?

For example, I can only create a DUN through a MS link, there is no way I can
create a DUN with my ISP.

IIRC, there are no differences between the functionality of
Windows 2000 installed from the OEM version or the full retail
version. The retail version, however, may offer more features
and auxiliary files, e.g., games, music, animation, etc., that
may not be present in the OEM version.
