Is there any way when posting to newsgroups, other than manually or using
OE-Quotefix, of putting the cursor and signature at the bottom of a reply
rather than top posting?

I have installed OE-Quotefix and it works fine but you have to start it
manually in stand alone mode before starting Vista Mail. Using the Outlook
Express with OE-Quotefix doesn't work for obvious reasons.

As a temporary measure I have it in my Startup group but I'd rather start
and stop it when I open and close Vista Mail than leave it running all the
time.

Thanks

Take a look under TOOLS menu|OPTIONS|ADVANCED tab in Windows Mail

I've been there and done that and while this works fine for newsgroups it
also puts the signature and cursor at the bottom of emails which is no good.

When replying to emails top posting is right for newsgroups replies should
be at the bottom.

Thanks for the reply though.

Again true, however, it doesn't move the signature.

Oddly enough there have been developments, since installing OE-Quote fix
I've re-booted following and update and now the Outlook Express with
OE-Quote fix option works!

Everything is now as it should be.

Thanks for the input.
