OE password pop up window

Every time I open outlook x i get two password pop up
windows for my one hotmail account. What are the possible
causes of this? This is xp p with other users.

OE is probably set to check for new mail as soon as it is launched. If the
hotmail site is out of whack or slow to authenticate your user info, you
will be asked to confirm username/password. You can change the settings to
*not* check immediately and click manually do a send/receive instead.

Incidentally, MSN email uses the hotmail servers. I have an MSN account and
have had problems twice this past week picking up my mail. Both times, I
just waited a couple of hours and was eventually able to get through.
