After downloading the Microsoft AntiSpyware program, I'm
only getting the header and not the body of the
message when I syncro Hotmail in OE6.
The (changed by the system) subject states:

Unable to locate messageContent-Type:text/plain;
charset=us-asciiAn error
has prevented from locating the message.

If I go into Hotmail the message is there in full.
When I try to send an email, I'm getting this error:

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'Hotmail', Server:
'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp',
Protocol: HTTPMail,
Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12019, Error
Number: 0x80004005

I've posted that in
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
and PA Bear asked me to post here too.
Right now, I uninstalled that program and my OE/Hotmail
are friends again!

Cheers, Steffo

Thanks, Steffo--I think you've hit a bug. You aren't the first to post
these symptoms, which seem to only happen with the Hotmail setup on OE. I
don't know a workaround. Uninstalling the beta is the correct thing to
do--check back again when another beta is released?

They have announced that another beta will be released. I'm sure that will
also be free, and time-limited. I can't predict what the final product will
look like, or whether it will be free, I'm afraid.

is there any way of retrieving these mails under this error message, I have some highly important docs that I cannot access and will take me weeks to recreate them.

Thanks

Gameon
