OE folders opening expanded?

When I open OE6 all the folders are already expanded even though I collapsed
them before closing it. How can I get OE to open with the folders
collapsed? Besides local folders I have 3 news servers with quite a few
groups in each so the list is quite long.
 
Under 'Tools | Options | 'Read' tab. You must have the option checked that
reads 'Automatically expand grouped messages'. Uncheck this.
