OE Files - help please

Can anyone tell me where all the deleted files from Outlook Express go and
if these need to be deleted?

.they go into the deleted folder which u should empty

select all then right click then select delete
 
Thanks for the info Ian, yes i always delete files from there daily, but
what i mean't was where do they go then, they dont go to the recycle bin,
they must be somewhere still on the computer?????? Is there a folder
somewhere that they are all in, and if so where is it?

They go to the file Deleted Items.dbx. When you delete email from the
Deleted Items, they are delete from that file.

Go to Outlook Express, Tools, Options and then the Maintenance tab. You will
find a button Store Folders which will give you the location of the folder
with all your OE *.dbx files. On the same tab, there is a Clean Up Now
button. Periodically, you should use Clean Up Now to manually compact all
your *.dbx files to remove the empty space left behind by deleting email
from the *.dbx files.

On the same tab, there is a compact files in the background check box. In
the past, it was good practice to clear this checkbox and compact manually.
I think this practice is still best for OE 6.
