OE crashing

My OE is crashing only on news groups. It crashes when I post, or reply to a
post, (it does send the post though) it also crashes when I switch from one
news account to another. Sometimes it crashes when I'm just reading a post.
I really need to get this fixed and I am running out of ideas. I have tried
everything that I can think of.

See if any of these ideas help. The option of removing it
completely and reinstalling might apply, but if you can't
resolve consider just using a third party news reader (and
still using OE for your e-mail.)

Thanks. I haven't seen this site before so you can bet that I will be
checking it out. I could use another news reader I suppose but I like what I
can do with OE. LOL I guess I'm just spoiled and not looking forward to
learning another program. It may come down to that though.

Please define *crash* a bit more precisely as it applies to this
specific problem.

What exactly happens? Does Outlook Express just shut down by itself?
Or does it lock up and stop responding?

Is there any sort of error message produced? If so please provide the
complete *verbatim* text of the error message(s).
