OE 6 cant send xls attachments

I have Pentinum4 XP Home Edition and Outlook Express6, I am running McAffe Internet Security Suite 6. I am able to send and receive emails, I am also able to receive .excell .xls attachments . I have been able to send some small .xls attachments (50 or so KB) but I cannot send 100-600kb attachments even by setting the preferences to spliting the attachment. The message says either ' a time out' (its set at 4.5minutes) . or server errors. I am using broadband.

Sending email is a collaborative process between the server (email
service provider) and client (your machine). Suggest you consult with
your email service provider. 600 kb is not large for most ISP's.

It's irrelevant that your machine is on broadband. It's a protocal
issue between the server and client.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

My hunch: McAffee. (Sorry, should have thought of that in the first
posting to you).

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
