I have an HP Photosmart 7350 printer. I decided to try some Kodak Premium
Picture Paper. The prints come out great but I have noticed an odor from the
printed pictures. The odor is still there days after the pictures have
dried. Anyone hear about this? Suggestions? Thanks

Bleh, I have the same problem. I thought I was the only one. I really
don't like that, and sometimes it makes me feel sick. I decided to just not
use the paper. I get a slight odor from it with my Canon i560 as well.
Luckily it was only $20. I won't be using it anymore.

Greetings Steve,

Yikes that is quite strange, Steve, if you want to contact me off line, we
can trade addresses so I can get a sample from you and I will send you some
paper for the experience. I am interested in learning the reason for the
odor, as that should not happen.

Talk to you soon.

Hi Nokia,

Your experience is also quite unusual. Please contact me and let me review
a sample or if you still have the packaging information, share the codes
from the box or pacakage. I will be able to track down the reason for the
anomaly. I will share with you on any results. Thanks ahead of time for
your help in resolving this experience.

Hi there,

Well, here is the information on the paper sold at Costco that I bought:
- Kodak Premium Picture Paper For Inkjet Prints
- 100 sheets/High Gloss/59lbs-220g.m/8mil/8.5x11
- Made in Canada for Eastman Kodak Company
- CAT 197 6463
- UPC: 041771976460
- 1 year warranty

I decided not to bother getting it exchanged. The results weren't even that
good, and the smell was enough to make me sick. It's not as bad now that I
stopped using the refill ink (I think that's definitely a contributing part
to this problem) on my HP DeskJet. My Canon i560 is on its first set, OEM,
of ink but the smell is still there unfortunately. I'd definitely be
interested in anything you can find out.

Thanks!

For what it's worth: I use genuine Canon paper on my
Canon S9000 and the "glossy photo paper plus" smells
also very nasty... It takes at least an entire day for
the image to lose the odor.
