I have 2 issues with Outlook 2002 that aren't system critical, just strange.

#1. When I click on the Organize button, there are image place holders where
the clickable buttons should be. Everything functions perfectly but the
placeholders throw the formatting out of whack and it makes it annoying to
search for all the available tools and options.

#2. This may or may not be related to #1. When I click Outlook Today, the
page that should load in the preview pane is blank. There's nothing on it,
no text, lines, placeholders, nothing. Of course, I don't actually need the
Outlook Today page, I've never used it before and I don't plan on using it
any time soon. It just bugs me when something doesn't work for no apparent
reason (to me).

This is a fresh install of OfficeXP, everything is activated.

Like I said, neither of these issues are system critical. If there's an easy
answer out there, I'd appreciate it. If not, don't spend a lot of time on
this on my account.

Thanks very much in advance.

You might try going to Help and doing a "Detect and Repair" and see if
that fixes it.

Ben, thanks for the idea. I tried it, but it didn't help.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like a simple case of broken links.
I'm betting that because I created and named my own default install
directory (C:\Program Files\OfficeXP etc. etc.) that somehow the
installation process forgot to tell Outlook where to look for certain
things, like Outlook:Today or the button images on the Organize page.

Probably a simple reg fix... if I can find the right key :)

Thanks again...
