Odd temperature problem

Something weird is happening to my system.

When I install the dedicated monitor driver (Hansol 920P) my system
overheats. But when I use the "default monitor" setting my system
temperature falls to a safe temperature. And I don't mean a small drop in
temperature. It rises from 30C to 62C when I install the monitor driver!

My refresh rate is 100Mhz - but this rate is supported by the monitor. Could
this be the cause? Should I lower it? And other ideas?

Did Hansol hire that driver or was he just a freebie? It is news to me that
monitors need drivers, maybe you forgot the vid card drivers? 100mhz is
supported at certain resolutions. Figure what video card you have and then
download the latest drivers for your Operating System. Install and leave
things as is for a while. Nice looking monitor though! Another thing is that
they look and number these monitors similar to Viewsonic/Optiquest monitors.
