Odd Service Running

Can anyone tell me what inetp60.dll is or whether it's supposed to be
running or not. I have run Norton AV 2004, Spyware Nuker, and Adaware but
it doesn't report it as a problem but it's running and I don't think I need
it but I can't stop it. I finally renamed it and then I could delete it
from the System32 directory but now I'm getting a message about and error
trying to start it. I ran MSConfig and it's in the list even though I
deleted the entry from Hkey/Local
Machine/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Run. It was listed as
Rundll32_8.exe or dll I can't remember which. But I think it said something
about a DLL server.
This is the final problem on a pc I am working on for a customer that
was severely infected with 2 viruses and 164 items listed as threats by
Norton and Adaware.

Thanks in Advance,
Danny

yeah, it is evil. Part of some scummy IE toolbar thingy, I think.

Some of these things you have to wrestle to the ground, and beat with a
stick before they finally go away and stay away.

I googled it and did not find any clear explanation as to what it is, but if
you search for it on your drive, right-click it when the file is found and
click properties. In there, you may find some better details to google on
and more about it. You might also want to try googling for spybot search
and destroy, another good spyware catching freeware utility. Good luck.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it is not working.

Yea I been fighting it for 3 days and finally got it deleted but I can't
figure what is calling it up now : ( I can't really let the customer pick
it up with a error popping up every time she boots up.
Odd thing is the application log doesn't report the error or tell me
what app is calling the dll.

Unfortunately, this is the reward people get by running the Number 1 spyware
targeted OS, Windows!

Inetp60.dll is listed as part of the BrowserAid Toolbar (adware/spyware).
Manual removal instructions are here:

Thanks for the info. It was Rundll16 that I had no clues to look for.
Once I deleted that the error message stopped.

Thanks Again,
Danny
