Odd records only appear in form

I have a strange problem with a form in access.
When I scroll through records only the odd ones appear.

Record 1...3...5...7 and so on.

Any suggestions what could be causing this?

What's the Recordsource of the Form? A Table, or a Query?

If it's a table, it may just be that the records are being presented
in this odd order (as opposed to some other unpredictable order). Try
basing the Form on a query sorting by this field.

Or, there may have been some records deleted. Autonumbers (which I
presume you're seeing) will almost always have gaps (though usually
not this systematically!), and Access tables don't have "record
numbers".
