Odd media player behaviour

This should be impossible. I left the computer playing mp3s in media
player, and locked it (to the XP login screen). A macaw removed two
of the keys from the numeric keypad, and managed to stop the media
player while it was locked. I don't have a multimedia keyboard. All
I can think of is that the multimedia controls are actually weird
combinations of key depressions. To further confuse matters, the USB
modem disconnected my broadband at the same time.

Q: If you have a mothball in one hand and another mothball in the other hand, what would you have?
A: The undivided attention of a very large moth!

Sounds like you need a scaremacaw.

I suppose I could get the computer to display something scary if it detects abnormal key depressions, but I don't think he'sscared of anything!

P.S. your sig is showing above the quoted text. You're not using MS software are you?

Yeah, he's using top posting Outlook Express.

I can top post too, but my sig and seperator remain at the bottom, so they are snipped correctly by the next person.

On a Continental Flight with a very "senior" flight attendant crew, the pilot said,
"Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights.
This is for your comfort, and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants."

T-Bird does that too and, by default, sets the cursor at the end of the
messages and nukes the sig. OE doesn't nuke the sig and it puts the
cursor at the top of the post.

I am also using OE-QuoteFix which can place the signature at the top or the
bottom. Since I top post placing my signature at the bottom would be just
plain goofy. OE-QuoteFix has options for top, bottom and interspersed
posting.

But it kills all the quoting when anyone replies.

Anyway topposting is silly, especially if someone has already bottom posted.

A man is out on the golf course enjoying his day off. He takes a swing at the ball and he slices off the fareway and into the rough into a patch of buttercups. He walks over, eyes the ball, and pulls out his iron preparing to hit it out of the patch. Suddenly he stops in mid swing and thinks to himself "nah...I think ill spare all these nice looking buttercups" and he picks up his ball and throws it into the fareway so as not to damage the buttercups.
In a mystic type aura on a magical breeze, Mother Nature wisks over. Surprised, the man says, "Who are you?" "I am Mother Nature" she replies. "and for saving my precious buttercups, I am granting you an unlimited supply of butter."
The man huffs and retorts, "Oh, thats real cool...where were you yesterday when I hit it in the patch of pussy willows?"
