The above named folder showed up on my C drive. It contains SP1 and SP2
Files. Is this a windows update and why is it sitting at the top of the C?
(according to Microsoft, all current updates are installed)
It contains an update program that I have not run. Should it be run, or
would the service pack files have been installed automatically? If the
updates have been installed, can it be deleted? I renamed it temporarily and
nothing is amiss.

Thanks!

$NT Uninstall Folders are just that. They are there so you can uninstall
windows updates if not working properly. 99% of
the time you keep winupdates so I delete them. It's your own choice.
