Windows XP Odd Error

Hi,

I have been getting this error come up on my laptop after about 4.30 hours of use. I thought it was a video driver issue so I updated video drivers but the error still comes up. Would a repair install correct this problem would it be worth a try?

Any advice would be grateful.

Its got nothing to do with video files - its either a part of some ParetoLogic software you have on your system, or a remnant thereof from when you uninstalled - Paretologic do Data Recovery, Registry Cleaning, Antispyware etc products http://www.paretologic.com/products/index.aspx

Do you have an entry under Scheduled Tasks in Control Panel for ParetoLogic Registration? - if so delete it....
 
Hi Both,

Thanks for your replies. I dont remeber installing anything like this but I might had done because I was trying to recover data from a hard drive, I will do registry scans and spyware scans.

Why are you doing spyware etc scans when it isn't anything to do with that? :confused:


Have you looked as I suggested?

Sorry I did not read it correctly :o I have removed ParetoLogic Registration in control panel.

Clearly not...Wiz, do as the man says..Doing what you want to do is a complete waste of your time...
 
Wiz..........if you no longer have any ParetoLogic software on your system, you can also delete any folders under Program Files and Common Files relating to ParetoLogic, and also go to regedit and delete any entries there under Current_User>Software and Local_Machine>Software.

It all seems clean in Programs File and Reg etc, if it comes up again I will let you know.
