I have been trying to figure out this issue on my own for a while, but can't
figure it out. I have created a macro which draws borders on currently
selected cells. The macro works perfectly 95% of the time. On certain files,
I get a runtime error 1004 : "Unable to set the LineStyle Property." The
sheet is not protected, and cells are not locked. If I select different cells
in the same sheet, I can get it to work just fine. It only happens with
specific cells. In addition to the macro not working, I cannot get the format
cells dialog box to open for the cells that are affected, but the format
cells dialog box opens just fine on other cells. Additionally, I have checked
to make sure it is not an issue with having InsideVertical or
InsideHorizontal. My issue occurred on a 3 x 3 selection.
Anybody have any ideas on what my issue could be?
Additional info:
I am running XP with Office 2007 SP1. The problem files come from a coworker
with a previous version of excel.
