There are a couple of video files which we include in
several of our presentations. Normally, we use AVI files.
But, since this requires that we copy the AVI files into
the same directory when we make copies of that slide, I
figured I could save us a lot of duplication by using
animated GIFs. (That way, the much-smaler GIF is embedded
in the presentation.)
Creating the two animated GIFs was not a problem, and
neither was placing them in the presentation. However, when
I preview the slide show, one of the GIFs appears briefly,
and disappears without playing its animation. The other
works just fine.
I can't understand what the problem is. As far as I've been
able to tell, both GIFs have the same characteristics
(palette, duration, no blank frames, etc.), and neither
have any Powerpoint animation attached to them that'd
create this problem.
Any suggestions?
