A client is win2000 Professional and a server is win2000
server.
In a single LAN, I can configure the odbc data source in
the client to accessed SQL server in the server. But if
the SQL server and the client located in difference LAN
connected by a Router, it did not work, why?
Someone can help me?

Thank you very much.

Try the IP address in place of the server name in your connection string.
