ODBC -- update on a linked table [table name] failed

The entire error reads as follows:

ODBC -- update on a linked table [table name] failed
[Oracle][ODBC] Function Sequence Error. (#0)

I am trying to run an update query from a linked table on a server (for
which I have admin rights to and have successfully run update queries in the
past). I have the linked table and an imported table in my update query.
They're are matched on primary keys in both tables and just trying to update
a field in the linked table.

Can someone help me? I've recently upgraded to Office 2007 so maybe that is
it?
