ODBC File Type Missing

When I try to link a table in access 2000 via ODBC, that option is no longer
available. I do have a registry error (*.*) that can be selected (I assume
that to be the missing ODBC connection).

I reinstalled MDAC 2.81. I then installed MDAC 2.7 & Jet 4.0 SP8. I've
removed access from the data sources (both system & user) and reinstalled
them. I've also reinstalled access. None of these have worked.

Does anyone have any idea?
