ODBC and DSN

I have a database that will be on a server. It will connect/link to several
other types of databases and files on a server.

If I set up an ODBC connection on my computer, is it only good on my computer?
What is the best way to handle this in a multi-user situation?

Yes, DSNs must exist on each workstation. However, a DSN is strictly entries
in the registry, so it's not particularly difficult to script them for all
users.
