Is OCZ a reliable brand of ram? They are the only ones who make PC 3700
512 meg cas2 sticks. They are not cheap, about $470.00 for a pair. Please
reply is anyone has info, thanks.

OCZ has a VERY shady history, they more or less fled from a few states
to avoid fraud charges. Maybe they've turned over a new leaf, maybe
they haven't. I wouldn't spend $470 to find out. If you absolutely
MUST have PC3700(for whatever reason) get Corsair's.

Keyword beeing history, they got new management etc now and newer reviews
all show they make excellent products now. They're still struggling against
their past though.
I'm getting a dualchan pair of PC3500 ELs myself now though after reading
severall good reviews.

Best Wishes

Listen, do what you want but I had two 256meg sticks of PC2100 in a A7V333
board that was giving me fits. I finally changed out the OCZ memory to
Crucial at the recommendation of this group and the board is rock stable
now. I e-mailed OCZ and they would not honor the warranty on the ram. Wanted
me to try it in another board, ect. ect. Never again, not when Crucial,
Corsair and Mushkin will send you new ram and all they ask is that you
return the defective ram. My 2cents.
