OCR Freeware?

Just checked Pricelessware and could not find anything. Did I look in
the wrong category?

Googling just brings up false leads from Brothersoft & similar
spammer-like sites.

There's a freeware program called WOCAR which works OK. A bit of Googling
should find it.

Go to one of the sites below and go to the OCR category. The best is
SimpleOCR, but it has a learning curve, because you teach it what
words are in error, and what they should be. Thus the more you teach
it, the more accurate it becomes.
