Observation of a Strange Phenomenon

When using Windows Media Player to listen to my music
while playing Solitaire, I have noticed this phenomenon.
When I win the game and the cards cascade, they cascade
much faster than they do ordinarily when Media Player is
not in use.

No problem, but just wondered why and wishing things
could ordinarily be at that pace. It surely would be
nice.

Any comments?
 
What kind of music do you listen to.Rock and rap speed
mine up,but country and oldies slow it down.
